Eat More Greens Café and Bakery is a bright and cheery café in Tokyo, Japan. They have both indoor and patio seating. They are 100% vegetarian so some dishes do contain dairy or eggs, but we were very happy to see that the vegan items were very clearly identified on the menu.
I selected the Soup and Salad Set which came with a wonderfully creamy chilled Potato Leek Soup and a fresh Panzanella Salad. I must also say that the artisan bread that came with my meal was excellent...nice crust and nice flavor. Ryan ordered the Red Curry, which was very tasty as well. As a pie lover (I actually love many different desserts), I couldn't decide whether to try to the Vegan Apple Pie or the Vegan Pumpkin Pie, so we got one of each. I especially liked the pumpkin one, as it was made with Japanese kabocha pumpkin, skin and all!
Their baked goods display case had amazing selections as well. The vegan items are clearly marked and looked scrumptious! I wish I had room for more dessert, such as this Green Tea Sweet Potato Cookie or the Black Sesame and Kuromitsu (black sugar syrup) Bar.
Eat More Greens occupies a corner location at the intersection of two small but bustling streets at 2-2-5 Azabu-juban, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. They are currently open from 11am to 2pm for lunch, 2pm to 6pm for tea (including light meals and sweets), and from 6pm to 11pm for dinner. Please note that this is not a vegan restaurant (it is 100% vegetarian), but the vegan menu and bakery items are clearly marked.
